Teen Mental Health Fair To Be Held In Livingston Sunday In Honor Of Student Who Died

All are invited to the Teen Mental Health Wellness Fair in Livingston. There will be resources, activities, and essay contest winners.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston student Shiv Kulkarni, 14, was a pianist, artist, and champion table tennis player. Sadly, he passed away in July 2021. But an organization named for him will hold a youth mental health fair in Livingston this Sunday.

The fair will include resources, activities, and awards for winners in the statewide essay contest for middle school and high school students, MindSpeak Essay Competition.

"Shiv's Third Eye's mission is to work on awareness, education, and support for Youth Mental Health," said Shiv's mom, Shilpa Kulkarni, this week. "We started two yearly events — Pride Picnic and Youth Mental Wellness Fair."
