Water Main Breaks On Dorsa Avenue Tuesday Morning
The water in the area is drinkable. However, some discoloration of water is possible.

A water main broke on Dorsa Avenue Tuesday morning and may cause some residents' water to be discolored.
A 12-inch water main ruptured around 9:30 a.m., said Superintendent of Public Works Michael Anello. As of 2 p.m., crews were still repairing the water main, which is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
The water in the area is drinkable. However, some discoloration is possible, said Anello. If residents encounter brown water, they should run cold water to flush out the system until the water runs clear. Residents are advised not to run hot water or the dirt may damage your hot water heater.

The water main break affected three commercial buildings in the area, said Anello, but no residential homes.
Some residents did experience discoloration due to a fire on Trombley Drive on Tuesday morning, said Anello.
