Week Ahead: Council, Schools in Session
Check out what's going on in town including council meeting, board of education meeting and lots of events.

Meetings will dominate the week's schedule in Livingston this week as both the township council and school district will host meetings.
The council is scheduled to vote on licenses for charitable events in town as well as discuss proposed ordinances and approve several resolutions. The meeting will be held at Livingston Town Hall, 357 S. Livingston Ave. Agendas for the conference and regular meetings are attached.
The Livingston Board of Education will hold a voting meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Livingston High School, 30 Robert H. Harp Dr.

Among the items on the meeting agenda are a board member code of ethics, a staff survey and mid-year budget review, as well as security and building update. A meeting agenda is attached.

The Livingston Old Guard, sponsored by the Livingston Division of Senior, Youth and Leisure services, is a social club for men age 55 and over. The club is a place where the men gather, every Tuesday, to engage in programs, activities, events and lectures. The members of the Old Guard also formed leisure clubs within the guard which include the bocce, bowling, cards, choral, computer, financial information, pocket pool and shuffleboard clubs.
