SCAN to Host “Winterlude” Community Cocktail & Networking Event in Monmouth Beach on January 15

MONMOUTH BEACH, NJ – The Senior Citizens Activities Network (SCAN), a New Jersey-based nonprofit serving adults age 55 and older since 1988, will host Winterlude, a winter social, networking, and fundraising event on Thursday, January 15, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Church of the Precious Blood Parish Center, located at 72 Riverdale Avenue, Monmouth Beach.

The Event is sponsored by Mark Vigianni Keller Williams CNJ Real Estate and by Stillwell-Hansen Corporation. Other sponsors include Home Helpers of Monmouth County, Garden State Trust Company, Garden Savings, FCU, CompleteCare, Imperial Healthcare, Comfort Keepers, We Care Adult Care, Adrienne and Michael Nittolo, SAVEGREEN Energy Project, Veteran Care Services and Encompass Health. e

Winterlude is open to the public ages 21 and over and is designed as a relaxed winter gathering that brings together community members, local supporters, and friends of SCAN while raising funds to support the organization’s mission of combating social isolation among older adults in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Attendees will enjoy live music, featuring two sets of Texas swing by Jet Weston and his Cocktail Cowboys, along with beer, wine, and soft drinks, and catering by Tramonto's of Ocean Township, winner of the 2025 Jersey Shore Pizza Wars.

“Winterlude is a great opportunity for people to come together during the winter months, enjoy great music and food, and support programs that help keep older adults active, connected, and engaged,” said Mike Ciavolino, Executive Director of SCAN. “It’s a fun, welcoming event that reflects the spirit of community that SCAN is all about.”

Tickets are $25 per person, with all food, beverages, and entertainment included. Proceeds from the event will support SCAN’s wide range of educational, wellness, and social programs for older adults throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.
