Some West Long Branch Residents May Be Without Water On Sept. 5
Residents in the Broadway/Locust Avenue area could be affected, police say

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - The replacement of a fire hydrant in the Broadway/Locust Avenue area may mean some residents could be without water for part of the day on Wednesday, according to the police department.
New Jersey American Water will be doing the work between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, weather permitting.
Residents on Broadway, Locust Avenue, Homestead Avenue and North Locust Avenue may be without water during that time.

There will also be traffic delays on Broadway at Locust Avenue. Police ask that motorists try and avoid the area.
"If you must travel on Broadway, use caution and drive slow in the area of the construction," the department's Facebook page states.
