3 Charged In Armed Home Invasion In Morris Co.: Prosecutor
Officials say two of the men were armed with a baseball bat and a knife in the home invasion.

VICTORY GARDENS, NJ — Three men were charged in connection to an armed home invasion in Victory Gardens on Oct. 21, Morris County Prosecutor Fredrick M. Knapp said.
Carlos Rodriguez, 22, from Victory Gardens, Victor Hernandez, 19, Marlon Martinez, 23, both from Rockaway Borough, were charged with robbery, burglary, and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection to the break-in, Knapp said. Rodriquez also faces terroristic threats charges.
According to Knapp, the three men broke into a home through an unlocked, but closed, door the night of Oct. 21. Hernandez and Martinez were allegedly armed with a baseball bat and a knife at the time.

Rodriguez allegedly took a safe out of the closet, and three people in the home to either turn over the key, or be killed by Hernandez and Martinez. The homeowner handed over the key, s well as a gold necklace, and the three accused fled, Knapp said.
All three were arrested two days later, on Oct. 23. All three are currently lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility, with a court date scheduled for Monday.
