Meadowbrook Day Camp to Host Open House on January 11, 2026

Prospective camp families are invited to attend a fun and informational Open House at Meadowbrook Day Camp on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 73 East Valley Brook Road in Long Valley, NJ. Spots are closing fast and appointments are required. To reserve a time slot, please email marty@meadowbrookdaycamp.com.

Prospective families will participate in an information session with the camp’s directors and Leadership Team, followed by a guided campus tour.

“This is a great way for families to tour Meadowbrook’s beautiful campus and learn what we are all about,” said Owner Mason Goldberg.

Meadowbrook is an American Camping Association (ACA)–accredited day camp set on a 50-acre wooded campus in Long Valley, just outside of Chester.

Meadowbrook’s day-camp program serves children ages 3–15 and includes a travel program for those entering grades 7, 8, and 9, as well as before-care and after-care from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The camp offers a unique focus on building life skills, a Red Cross swim program in heated pools, kid-friendly healthy lunches served daily, boating, mountain biking, sports, ropes courses, and creative themed weekly special events at camp and on buses.

One standout feature at Meadowbrook is that all tips are included in tuition, with no additional costs later on.

Meadowbrook also offers exclusive DOOR-TO-DOOR BUS TRANSPORTATION, featuring smaller vehicles, spirited rides led by bus counselors, and easier mornings with pickup right at your home. Routes include Morris, Essex, Union, Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Middlesex, and Somerset counties.

Campers enjoy a wide range of activities, including swim instruction based on Red Cross skill levels and free swim in a 9,000-square-foot pool complex with three heated pools; Archery; Tennis; Basketball; Softball; Soccer; Cooking; Dance; Lacrosse; Flag Football; Nature; Fishing; Newcomb; Challenge Courses; Canoeing; Kayaking; Paddle Boats and Bumper Boats on a private lake; Gymnastics; various Arts & Crafts; Hockey; and more.

Additional unique offerings include Mountain Bikes, Mountain Boards, Ultimate Frisbee, Tapu-aie, GaGa, Handball, Speedball, Chocolate, Arcade, Bonfire Cooking, Earth Wind & Fire, Rocketry, and much more.

In addition, Meadowbrook offers travel camps for children entering grades 7–9, combining days at camp with day trips to destinations such as Dutch Springs Waterpark, Coastal Sports, The Game Vault, Camel Beach, Mountain Creek, Six Flags Great Adventure, Combat Sports, Yestercades, Laser One, Aspen Ice, Rock Quarry Swim Club, Medieval Times, The Gravity Vault, Broadway shows, Circle Lanes, as well as Community Service Day Trips and overnights.

Meadowbrook also instills a culture of “TIGER” core values — Teamwork, Integrity, Generosity, Enthusiasm, and Respect — among campers and staff.

“We encourage our campers and staff to practice TIGER values during the summer and to carry those values with them after camp ends, back home and back to school,” said Goldberg, whose own children are campers at Meadowbrook.

Meadowbrook is a camp like no other — reserve your Open House spot today.
