Community Night Out Returns To Long Valley: See What's Planned

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Mark your calendars: Washington Township's Community Night Out will once again return this summer.

The annual celebration now in its seventh year, is scheduled for July 18 at Rock Spring Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free to all residents.

Family-friendly activities include a hot air balloon ride, bounce houses, a climbing wall, face painting, a video game truck and more.

This year there will also be music played by a DJ and a band throughout the event.

Older kids and adults can partake in axe throwing, a three-lane mega obstacle course, a dunk tank and a Jaws demo.

The Washington Township Fire Department, as well as County vehicles, will be on hand to host a Touch-A-Truck event where families can get up close and personal with a variety of emergency vehicles.

The Community Night Out is a team effort coordinated by Washington Township Emergency Services and other local sponsors.
