All donations can be brought to the Long Valley Presbyterian Church on Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
LONG VALLEY, NJ β Donations from residents, businesses, religious organizations, and other groups in Long Valley can help feed more than 70 families in the community.
The community is being asked to donate whatever they can so that they can continue to provide food to families in need throughout the township, as shelves are currently looking bare.
"The LVCAP supports local families that are food insecure, and they told me that they are consistently running out of items that are normally donated to them. I know food prices are through the roof now, but if you are able the next time youβre at the store, please consider getting a couple of extra items and dropping them off at the Food Pantry on Thursday mornings," Washington Township Mayor Matthew Murello said.
