Election 2021: Washington Township Committee Candidate Bill Roehrich
Patch sent out questions to candidates seeking public office locally. Here was one response.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β The Nov. 2 General Election is getting closer and Patch has asked local candidates to share their thoughts before the election.

One of these candidates is Kenneth βBillβ Roehrich, an incumbent Republican on the Washington Township Committee. He is running for one of two, three-year seats on the Committee, along with another Republican incumbent, Ken Short and Democratic challenger Michael Brunken.

Why are you seeking elective office?
To further the work we have done in the last 11 yrs to keep Washington Twsp a great place to live. To give back to the community that I grew up in.

The single most pressing issue facing us is recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. What do you intend to do about it?
Encourage and help all to get vaccinated and continue to do what we need to do to stay safe and open as much as possible.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Past mayor for 4 yrs. lifelong resident of Washington Twsp.
