Long Valley Students On The 2021 National Merit Scholarship List
There are 13 students that have been named Commended Students, according to officials.
LONG VALLEY, NJ - It is a lucky 13 for West Morris Central High School as a baker's dozen have been Commended Students in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program, according to Principal Timothy Rymer.
A letter of commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, has been presented by the principal to these scholastically talented seniors:
- Ashil Amin
- Isabella Dilizia
- Liam Doherty
- Analise Draghi
- Logan Hart
- Vincent Jiang
- Timothy Kubik
- Justin Lee
- Brian Moffitt
- Matthew Murawski
- Michael Scanlon
- Shane Wojcicki
- Jake Zederbaum
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2021 competition for National Merit Scholarships, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2020 competition by taking the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), officials said.
