Morris Co. Prosecutor Increasing Patrols After Synagogue Shooting
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office is increasing patrols after a shooting left 11 dead at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — After a deadly shooting killed 11 members of a Pittsburgh synagogue over the weekend, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office is increasing patrols in the area, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr. announced over the weekend.
There is no threat to any synagogues in Morris County, and the increased patrols are a precautionary measure. They will be sent to all houses of worship.
"There is no place in our world for crimes against any individuals based upon their religion, race, ethnic group or gender. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office sends our thoughts and prayers to those affected by this horrible crime," Knapp said.

"As it always does, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office will continue to work with our local, county, and federal partners to ensure that all of our critical infrastructure in Morris County is well patrolled and protected," he added.
