Schooley's Mountain Project Heading To Next Phase
After the town committee voted yes on it, the project heads to the planning board.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β A development plan for Schooley's Mountain will move onto the next phase after the Township Committee voted unanimously in favor of a redevelopment zone change.
The proposal will now have to be submitted planning board, where it would undergo another review and vote process.
The plans calls for the rehabilitation of 20 Schooley's Mountain Road, and the adaptation into residential and retail space. Any new buildings will have to replicate the historic development of the area, the proposal says, and will have to include affordable housing units.

The next planning board meeting is on Nov. 12. No agenda has been published for that meeting yet.
