LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Long Valley Junior Women's Club (LVJWC) recently announced that it has given ten graduates from the West Morris Central High School Class of 2023 $12,000 scholarships.
The Long Valley Junior Women's Club is a volunteer-run organization that raises funds through a variety of fundraisers and programs, including the CARE afterschool program and the Racks Valley Boutique in downtown Long Valley.
They raised over $100,000 last year to put back into the community and programs like local schools, emergency services, local food pantries, senior centers, mental health and community safety programs, scholarship programs and so much more.

"We received applications from many amazing and well-deserving students which made our work in choosing the recipients incredibly difficult," the women's club said.
Each application was carefully reviewed, and the awards were ultimately given to students who stood out for their commitment to their academic career, essay submission, financial need, school involvement, and, most importantly, commitment to serving and giving back within their community.
