Sit, Talk With Long Valley Police Over Coffee

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department is participating in the national Coffee with a Cop program, which provides an opportunity for people to get to know their officers.

The Coffee with a Cop date is set for 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Coffee Potter, located at 24 Schooleys Mountain Road, Long Valley.

The Coffee with a Cop program encourages the community to stop into a local coffee shop to have a cup of coffee and a relaxed one-on-one conversation with the officers in an effort to build positive relationships with the people they serve.

Local residents are invited to speak with local police officers and ask questions, voice concerns, or simply get to know the officers better by removing agendas.
