Power has been restored but cleanup process still ongoing.
Hurricane Irene-related damage will keep the closed through Labor Day weekend, according to director Nancy Adamczyk.
"The power is on, now we need to cleanup," she said in an email on Thursday.
On Monday, the day after the storm ripped through New Jersey, DPW crews were seen clearing the tree and debris from the library.

On Tuesday, Adamczyk said the borough was addressing damage caused by the tree, water damage was being assessed in certain areas, and carpet restoration work would need to be done.
"We have no electricity, as a tree pulled wires down in the rear parking lot," Adamczyk said on Tuesday.
