Madison Businesswoman Honored at College of Saint Elizabeth

This Madison business owner was among three local business owners honored by the college.

A Madison dentist was among three local business people honored at a gala at the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE) earlier this month.

The College of Saint Elizabeth’s Annual Scholarship Gala honored Madison dentist and CSE alumna Allison Adams, Jane Kurek, also a CSE alumna, and Paul A. Boudrea, president of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, at the gala held at the college’s Annunciation Center on April 16.

The scholarship gala was devoted to raising scholarship money for CSE students. Alumni, faculty, staff and college administrators gathered at the event to celebrate the institution’s ability to “provide education to those who would otherwise be underserved,” the College said.

Adams, owner and operator of Adams Dental in Madison, spoke of her experiences at the College of Saint Elizabeth. She noted as a first generation college student, she had the opportunity to further develop her leadership skills. Additionally, Adams said her biology and chemistry classes at CSE more than adequately prepared her for dental school, according to CSE.

In addition to honor local business people, a student scholarship recipient was introduced and the event included a special performance from the Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir.
