Madison Elks Club to Rock for Relay for Life

Fundraiser Saturday featuring Madison-based alternative rock band Running Late and DJ John Peterson will aid American Cancer Society's Madison/Florham Park event.

Madison-based alternative rock band Running Late and DJ John Peterson will entertain on Saturday, May 4, at the Madison Elks Club, 192 Main St., to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Madison/Florham Park event.

The concert is being organized by the “Hope Starts Here” team led by Dr. Julie DiGioia, a breast cancer surgeon at Overlook Hospital, Summit, and medical director of the Cristie Kerr Women’s Health Center, and Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology, at the Jersey City Medical Center. DiGioia is a breast cancer survivor herself.

“We are grateful to the Elks Club for donating the space, to the entertainers giving their talents and time, and to Joe Iossa, owner of Madison’s popular 54 Main Bar and Grille. He will donate 15 percent of the night’s profits to our Relay for Life team” said DiGioia.
