Madison Firefighters Drill on Lathrop Avenue

The Madison Fire Department plans to conduct a training exercise Monday evening on Lathrop Avenue.

The drill is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 16 Lathrop Ave. and residents should expect activity in the area around that time, according to an alert from Madison police.

The address is between Orchard Street and Green Village Road.

On Feb. 25, firefighters trained at a home on Ridgedale Avenue. The developer has given firefighters access to soon-to-be-demolished buildings to practice sawing holes in roofs, breaking windows and doors, and running hose lines.
