Madison Police Rescue Dog, Invite Locals to Virtual Ride Along
The Police Department's very own "dog whisperer" in action, and an invitation for twitter followers to ride along are among recent updates.
Madison Police Officer Chris Williams recently recovered a dog (pictured) from a residence on Winding Way. The dog owner contacted Madison Police, and retrieved it unharmed shortly thereafter.
“Chris is known for his love of animals,” The Madison Police Department stated. “In the Department he is referred to as the dog whisperer.”
This Friday, Madison residents who follow the Police Department on Twitter will have an opportunity to go on a virtual ride along with two Police Officers. The virtual ride along will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19.
