Madison: Property Tax Bills To Be Mailed Out Today, Aug. 4

Property tax bills for Madison residents will be mailed out on Aug. 4 with a due date of August 31. Those with questions can contact the Tax Collection Department at 973-593-3056.

According to The Borough of Madison’s website:

Property tax bills for the 3rd Quarter due August 1st will be delayed because the Morris County Board of Taxation has yet to certify the 2015 municipal tax rate.

Payment will be due 25 days from the date that the tax bills are eventually mailed by the Tax Collector. There will be no penalty and interest if tax bills are paid any time within that extra period.

We anticipate Morris County will certify the tax rate later this week and the bills will be mailed shortly thereafter. We apologize for any inconvenience.
