Madison Ranked Among 25 Best U.S. Small Towns To Live In
Livability.com, a website that ranked the most livable small and mid-sized cities, ranked the 100 best small towns in the United States.

Madison Borough was recently named among the top 100 best small towns in the United States by website Livability.com
Livability.com, a website that ranks the most livable small and mid-sized cities in the United States, ranked the 100 best small towns in the country. Madison Borough was ranked No. 24 on the list of 100 towns.
According to the website, towns were ranked using “more than 40 data points each for more than 12,000 towns with populations between 1,000 and 20,000. These scores were weighted based on an exclusive survey conducted for Livability by the leading global market research firm, Ipsos Public Affairs.”

Livability.com cites Madison as having excellent educational options, including a 13-to-1 student-teacher ratio in Madison Public Schools and higher education options such as Drew University and Madison-Florham Park Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Additionally, the website says the median income for families in the Rose City is more than $100,000 and homes range well above the national average with a median home price of $638,400.

The only other town in the State of New Jersey included on the list of 100 best small towns in the Unite States was Princeton.
