Madison Scores High in Dept. of Education Performance Report

The New Jersey Department of Education released its NJ School Performance Report for the 2013-14 school year.

The New Jersey Department of Education released its NJ School Performance Report, showing the performance of Madison High School for the 2013-14 school year.

The NJ School Performance Report is compiled in order to provide a comprehensive look at school performance across the state. According to the report, Madison High School scored very high in academic performance when compared with schools across the state and high when compared to peer schools.

Madison’s college and career readiness rated very high compared to schools across the state and high compared to peers. The school lagged a bit in its graduation and post-secondary performance when compared to its peers and was about average when compared with schools across the state, the report said.

According to the report, “Academic Achievement measures the content knowledge students have in Language Arts Literacy and Math. In high schools, this includes the outcomes of the New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA).”
