Madison's Drew University Offers 'Special' and 'Visiting' Student Programs
Deadline to apply for the fall semester is Aug. 15.

You don’t have to be enrolled as a four-year student in order to attend undergraduate classes at Drew University for academic credit.
Are you taking a semester off from college but would like to pick up a few credits? Perhaps you’re not sure a four-year university education is right for you, but want to try it out. Maybe you’re exploring a new career or considering graduate school and would like to get started by taking some courses.

Through Drew University’s Special and Visiting Student Program, students who may be uncertain about their college plans, or who want to explore a college education are welcome to apply. They can take advantage of Drew’s small classes, excellent faculty and rigorous course of study, on a temporary basis.
Students who enroll in the Special and Visiting student program earn college credits that can be transferred back to their home college or university. Others can have an introductory college experience before committing to a degree program.

Hurry, the deadline is right around the corner. Application deadlines are Aug. 15, 2015 for the fall semester and Jan. 15, 2016 for the spring.
The Office of Continuing Education provides visiting students with pre-admissions counseling and an individualized orientation. All college courses are open to special and visiting students on a space available basis, providing all prerequisites are met. Students may attend on a part-time or full-time basis. The current College of Liberal Arts course list is available on the Registrar’s Office Website
All Special and Visiting students are granted access to Drew’s student services and facilities, including the library, counseling center, writing center, tutoring program and athletic center. Visiting students are welcome to participate in campus activities and clubs, though they are not permitted to participate in NCAA athletics.
To be considered for the Special and Visiting Program please submit the following items to the Director of Continuing Education & Special Programs, Wesley House, Drew University, 36 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940:
- Special and Visiting Program Application
- Official high school transcript
- Official college transcript from all colleges and universities you have attended
- Drew University Dean of Students Certification and Recommendation Form
- A personal statement explaining your reasons for seeking admission through the
Special and Visiting Program.
- A $50 application fee.
