Man Assaults, Robs Victim During Madison Drug Deal: Cops
Morristown man jailed, alleged female accomplice also charged.

MADISON, N.J. – A Morristown man was arrested and jailed after allegedly assaulting and robbing his victim in Madison during a drug deal.
At 6:28 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, police received multiple reports of a robbery that took place at a location off of Madison Avenue, Acting Lt. John Miscia said. Police arrived and spoke with the victim, only identified as a 20-year-old male, who said he was assaulted and his property was stolen, Miscia said.
The alleged victim said no weapon was presented at the time of the incident, Miscia said.

Madison police canvassed the area and found a vehicle determined to be involved in the robbery, Miscia said. The driver of the vehicle was taken in for questioning, and it was later determined the fight occurred after an agreement to purchase narcotics, Miscia said.
Blake Brink, 22, of Morristown, was arrested and charged with robbery and aggravated assault. Police also arrested Olivian Tevlin, 18, of Scotch Plains, who was with Brink during the incident, Miscia said. She was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. She was released on her own recognizance.

Brink was lodged in Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
The victim was treated for minor injuries at Morristown Medical Center and later released.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
