Novelist Billy Giraldi Speaking at Drew University
Novelist and Drew University alumnus will be speaking at the university's lecture series.

Novelist and literary critic Billy Giraldi will be speaking at Drew University’s annual Merrill Maguire Skaggs Lecture Series.
Giraldi will be speaking on Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at Drew University’s Ehinger Center. Giraldi recently published his second novel entitled “Hold the Dark”, following his 2012 debut novel, “Busy Monsters”, according to a release from Drew University.
Giraldi’s lecture is titled “Equipment for Living: The Importance of Literature in a Digital World.” He is a native of Manville, New Jersey, and a Drew University alumnus.

“What we have in Billy Giraldi is a teller of tales who extends great traditions into astonishing renewal for our time,” Robert Ready, dean of the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies, said in the release.
A dessert reception and book signing will follow the lecture, according to the university.

The lecture is free of charge and open to the public. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. On-campus parking is complimentary for lecture guests.
