Lewd Act in Laundromat Leads to Arrest, Cops Say

A 22-year-old Madison man was charged with lewdness after someone told police they saw him performing a lewd act in the Central Avenue Laundromat, authorities said.

Bhima Reddy was arrested March 5 after police responded to the business on a report of the alleged incident, Madison Police Detective Kenneth Shannon said in a news release.

A witness identified Reddy when Sgt. Craig Perrelli arrived, and the officer arrested Reddy following an investigation, police said.

The defendant was released pending a court appearance.
