Project Pride Raffling Honda to Raise Funds
Counseling agency is selling tickets for $5.

Project Community Pride of Chatham, Florham Park and Madison, a crisis intervention and counseling service for children and their families, is raffling off a 2012 Honda Civic to raise money to help sustain the existence of the program. Tickets are $5 each chance, and all proceeds will go directly towards providing crisis and counseling services to the children and families in the community.
For the past 36 years, Project Community Pride has provided support for families of school-age children who are facing a variety of issues including anxiety, bullying, depression, divorce, family conflict, traumatic loss, and other serious mental health concerns. Currently serving the towns of Madison, Florham Park and Chatham, the Project provides counseling and other supportive services regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
Originally founded in 1976 by the Madison Police Department in response to an increase in problems involving juveniles, Project Community Pride provides first-time juvenile offenders with the support they need to succeed in school and life.

While Project Community Pride still works closely with local police departments in the participating communities, the focus of the program is now much broader. We collaborate with the local school system to bring our services to children and families in need. This support is delivered by a team of highly trained, experienced, licensed professional therapists.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased in a variety of ways. Project Community has set up a website to facilitate the raffle at www.winthiscarnj.com. Project Pride staff and volunteers will also be at several different local events including the Summer Concert Series at the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, the Madison and Chatham Farmers’ Markets, and the Bottle Hill Day Celebration in Madison. Tickets are also available at local businesses as well, including Nicky’s Firehouse Pizza in Madison, Angelato Heavenly Ice Cream and Puleo’s Brick Oven in Florham Park. Please consider patronizing these businesses who are supporting Project Pride and our community.
