Rose City Transmission Wins Women's Softball Title

The Madison Women's Softball League, the newest division in the Madison Softball League program, finished its summer season on Thursday with a championship game between Rose City Transmission and Alfred's Sporting Goods.

Rose City Transmission emerged victorious with a 13-3 victory. Members of the winning team are: Kelly Bartz, Dawn Neville, Amy Corvino, Betsy McIntosh, Amanda McIntosh, Debbie DeBiasse, Deanne Esposito, Andrea Huber, Cortney Piccolo, Danielle Mazzocchi, Kristen Presti and Carly Esposito.

Five women's softball teams competed throughout the months of July and August.  The final regular season standings were as follows:
