Voluntary Water Use Restrictions in Madison
Residents are asked to observe voluntary water restrictions during the summer months.

Madison Borough residents and businesses are being asked by the Borough administrators and the Madison Water Department to observe voluntary water use restrictions during the summer months.
Water use for outdoors, including watering lawns and shrubs, washing vehicles, sidewalks and driveways is restricted to alternate days, borough officials said.
Residents and businesses with even numbered addresses may use water outdoors on even numbered dates, while residents and businesses with odd numbered addresses can do so on odd numbered dates, the borough said.

Outdoor use of water will be allowed from 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m. and then from 8 p.m. to midnight on the designated days.
Borough officials said there should be no outdoor water use between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on any day.
