Week in Review: Primary, School Budget Were Highlights

All three candidates for Borough Council make way to November ballot; BOE gets recommendations on restorations.

The Republican and Democratic primary took place this past week, seeing three candidates for two Borough Council seats make their way to the November ballot. It was also a big week for the development of the school budget.

On Monday, we gave you tons of photos from JazzFest, which was held at Drew University. We also brought you photos and a recap of the METC's honoring of Jerry Vezza as their Craftsman of the Year. We previewed the local primary by telling you how, according to an FDU poll, most New Jersey residents didn't even know there was a vote. We also told you how a ballot error could taint the Democratic district primary.

On Tuesday, we updated you throughout the day on the primary, bringing you photos of the candidates voting. We told you how police were looking for your help for information on two burglaries and one break-in. We also told you about new store, Maison Décor. Late Tuesday we brought you the results from the primary.
