Plan Alternate Routes For One Maplewood Road This Week: Township

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The town of Maplewood announced last week that part of Harvard Avenue would close last Friday for road work, and that the work may continue during the current week.

"Please be advised that Harvard Avenue will be closed between Rutgers and Bowdoin Street on Friday, Dec. 3 due to milling operations," the town noted. "There will be further closures on Harvard Avenue for the week of Dec. 6 as the paving contractor makes their way towards Valley Street, weather permitting."

The town noted, "The contractor will make all efforts to minimize the disruption of school pick-up/drop-off activities. Please follow temporary construction signs and plan for alternate routes."
