Road Closures Through Next Friday Due To Maplewood Milling And Paving

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood will be milling and paving some roads through next Friday, Aug. 18. They released a partial schedule on Thursday, and said the Police Department will send out daily closure announcements through Nixle.

"Please be advised that milling and paving operations are scheduled to take place over the next week as part of the Maplewood Roads Program," the town said. "A detailed schedule of work locations and dates is available below; please plan your routes accordingly. Note that milled roads will be cleaned and drivable between the conclusion of milling operations and the start of paving operations."

Milling operations are scheduled for:

Thursday, Aug. 11: Fernwood Avenue (Parker Avenue to Woodside Road), Berkshire Road (Union Avenue to Burroughs Way), Oakland Road (Lancaster Avenue to 165 ft. East of Burnett Terrace), and Oakland Terrace (Elmwood Avenue to Oakland Road)

Friday, Aug. 12: Vermont Street (Springfield Avenue to Burnett Avenue), South Pierson Road (Valley Street to Springfield Avenue), and Bowdoin Street (Tuscan Road to 8 Bowdoin Street)

Monday, Aug. 15: Baker Street (Ridgewood Road to Maplewood Avenue), North Terrace (Parker Avenue to Oakland Road), Crowell Place (Valley Street to Kensington Terrace), and Arcularius Terrace (Ridgewood Road to Headley Place)

Tuesday, Aug. 16: As needed
