'Small' Sink Hole In Maplewood Causes Partial Road Closure
Maplewood police asked drivers to avoid part of a road during rush hour because of an "emerging" sink hole.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood Police asked drivers to avoid a section of road in Maplewood during rush hour "due to a small, emerging sinkhole," they said in an alert shortly before 5:30 p.m.
Police said to avoid the north side of Rutgers Street at Springfield Avenue (see map here), which was partially closed.
PSEG has been notified, police said.
