Water, Power, Normal Life Resume...Slowly

Maplewood sees improvement throughout the day

PSE&G hasn't yet updated their numbers for the county, but fewer than 500 Maplewood residents are reportedly without power.

Likewise, many residents report that running water is on tap -- though this water is not for drinking unless boiled first.

NJ Transit is expected to resume a near-normal schedule on Weds. Today's commute "wasn't too bad," according to a Patch reader who emailed an update.

Streets are re-opening. Wyoming is still closed, as is Valley at this time. However, Walton Rd is now open.
