Today is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 77, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 20 percent chance of rain throughout the day. Cloudy skies will continue into the night as temperatures slip to 65 degrees. 

Emergency Preparedness Meeting in Aberdeen

Created to help residents prepare for hurricanes and other natural disasters, the event will feature representatives from FEMA, Monmouth County Office on Aging, JCP&L, Maxons Restoration, Monmouth County Health Department, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Aberdeen Fire District # 1 and #2, Aberdeen Township Police Department, Aberdeen Township public works and construction officials, Helmetta Animal Control, and Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue. The meeting begins at 6:30 at town hall.

High School Athletic Forms Due Soon

If your high school athlete would like to participate in any sport beginning on or before Aug. 14, a physical form must be returned to the nurse's office by 12 p.m. on Aug. 8. Read more here.
