Fireman's Field Ball Park Getting New Snack Stand, Bathrooms In 2025
The money specifically will go to rebuild the snack stand and bathrooms at the field, said Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini.

ABERDEEN, NJ — On Oct. 28, Monmouth County announced a list of towns that will receive county funding to make municipal park improvements.
And Aberdeen was on the list: Aberdeen Township will receive $475,000 to make a series of improvements to the baseball diamond at Fireman’s Field. The money specifically will go to rebuild the snack stand, and build new bathrooms at the field, said Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini.
He thinks construction will start in the spring.

"If it's earlier, then we are all surprised," said Tagliarini on Tuesday, Nov 12. "We are absolutely honored and thrilled. Additional work repairs will also be done."
There are currently no bathrooms at the ball field.

"And the snack stand is in disarray," he added. "This will cover about two thirds of the cost, and the rest will come from a bond. This is probably one of the largest grants we've ever received, and we are absolutely thrilled. I think the county does a great job and very fair job giving out grants. This year was our turn."
