Get Help With Senior Property Tax Relief Application Sept. 16 In Matawan

MATAWAN, NJ — All Matawan residents, but particularly seniors, are invited to an open house Sept. 16 at the Matawan Masonic Lodge, hosted by Assemblymen Rob Clifton and Alex Sauickie.

It will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sept. 16, at the Matawan Masonic Lodge (192 Main Street, Matawan, NJ).

This is open to all residents. The state lawmakers and their staff will provide assistance with filling out the new combined senior tax relief application from the NJ state Treasury.

These are tax break programs for New Jersey seniors known as Senior Freeze, ANCHOR and StayNJ.

The application is different for 2025, so lawmakers will help seniors fill it out: Starting in 2025, New Jersey residents can apply for three property tax relief programs – Senior Freeze, ANCHOR and Stay NJ – using a single combined application form called PAS-1.
