Matawan Man Charged With Attempted Murder, Stalking In East Brunswick
Police say multiple times in the month of April, Sameh Kaldes, 43, of Matawan, would go to a home in East Brunswick and fire a gun:
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A Matawan man was arrested Friday by East Brunswick Police and charged with firing a gun at people he knew in three different instances.
The man is Sameh F. Kaldes, 43, of Matawan. He was taken into custody by East Brunswick Police Friday and charged with two counts of attempted murder, stalking, drug possession and receiving stolen property.
Police say that during the month of April, Kaldes would go to a home on Cranbury Circle in East Brunswick. Police were called for reports of three separate shooting incidents. Nobody was ever struck by the gunfire.

Police say this was not a random act of violence, and Kaldes knew the victims. East Brunswick Police detectives had been investigating the shootings, and police officers found him returning to Cranbury Circle Friday, April 18, where he was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently being held at the Middlesex County jail.
