Matawan Resident Thanks Washington Engine Company for Volunteerism
After seeing the fire company respond to a number of local emergencies, they recently came to her rescue.
Kathy MacCutchen has worked closely with the Washington Engine Company for a long time now, particularly when it comes to her "Help Us Help Them" service efforts for the troops overseas in the Middle East.
She has heard stories of their late night responses to car accidents and fires, in addition to their around the clock watches during devastating storms like Irene and Sandy.
MacCutchen, however, soon became the recipient of the company's generous care. Read her glowing "Thank you" here.
