Old Bridge Ramen Restaurant Will Open By September's End

It will open at the end of this month in the Shoppes at Old Bridge on Rt. 9. They will also serve bubble tea.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A new ramen restaurant will open at the end of September in Old Bridge.

The restaurant is called Kyuramen and it's a Japanese ramen chain with over 40 locations across the U.S. They will open at the end of this month in the Shoppes at Old Bridge on Rt. 9.

Founded in New York City in 2019, Kyuramen's signature dish is the #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen, made with a pork bone soup base, fresh Japanese-style roasted pork and boiled seasoned eggs. They are also known for their omurice, a fluffy, runny Japanese-style omelet served over fried rice.

The 5,200-square-foot Old Bridge restaurant will seat 130 and have contemporary Japanese-inspired décor, with honeycomb booth seating. They will also have a Tbaar bubble tea counter.

“Old Bridge has a vibrant, diverse dining scene and strong demand for quality Japanese cuisine,” said a Kyuramen spokesperson. “While there are a few ramen shops in the area, there’s nothing like Kyuramen’s combination of authentic flavors, creative menu items and a uniquely themed dining experience. We’re excited to bring something truly distinctive to Middlesex County.”
