New Location Of Old Bridge ShopRite Opens To Much Fanfare
The existing Old Bridge ShopRite closed Saturday, the day before the grand opening at the new location at Rt. 9 and Schulmeister Road.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Have you checked out the new Old Bridge ShopRite yet?
The existing Old Bridge ShopRite closed Saturday, March 16. The new location is in the Glenwood Green shopping center at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Schulmeister Road. It is owned by the Sumas family.

The ShopRite will be open 24/7, and has an in-store cafe — the Knight's Loft — named after the Old Bridge High School athletic teams.
The new grocery store sells sushi, prepared meals, sandwiches and soups from Gourmet Garage and Ruby Foo’s Asian fusion, has a Shuk kosher kitchen and more than 600 varieties of cheeses in its Fairway artisanal cheese department, with a "master cheesemonger" to hand-select the best cheeses from around the world.

They also have Fairway Market’s Signature Olive Bar, featuring over 30+ varieties of olives and pickles, and a Fairway Market Coffee Bar, selling 20 iconic Fairway bulk blends and seven different bean grinders. There is also a self-serve coffee bar where customers can get hot Americanos, lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, cold brew, iced coffee and hot chocolate.
There is also a Global Flavors Aisle with foods from around the world. The store also has a pharmacy.
The store is continuing to hire for full- and part-time jobs. Interested applicants can visit the careers section at ShopRite.com or in person at the hiring office located next door to the new store.
