South Amboy Gas Station Sells $284,169 Lottery Ticket

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — A South Amboy gas station just sold a lottery ticket that won the $284,169 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, Oct. 10 drawing.

The gas station that sold the ticket is the Exxon at 6040 Rt. 35 and Rt. 9 north in South Amboy.

The ticket matched all five numbers and the Xtra number. The winning numbers Thursday were: 03, 04, 05, 24 and 27 and the XTRA number was: 04. The Bullseye number was 03.

Just last week, someone won the $2.4 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Monmouth County. That huge-winning lottery ticket was sold Oct. 3 at the Wilson Avenue Deli in Middletown. The $2.4 million prize set a new record for the biggest Jersey Cash 5 amount ever won.
