ABERDEEN, NJ — A Sprouts Market is currently under construction next to the LA Fitness, and it will open sometime this spring, Aberdeen Township announced. They did not give a month.

Sprouts Market is a natural foods grocery store. They started as a natural foods market and although they expanded into becoming more of a traditional grocery store, they still sell things like grains and beans in bulk. Sprouts also reportedly refuses to sell sodas, chips and candy.

According to a quick review of their website, the Arizona-based Sprouts seems like a cross between a traditional supermarket, a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, with an emphasis on organic and unprocessed, natural foods. They also have a meats and seafood section, dairy, a deli, a bakery and also sell vitamins and supplements.
