Vietnam Veteran, Matawan Resident Dies at 85
He was a member of the Union Beach American Legion #321.

Bernard Taylor, 68, of Matawan, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Orange, NJ to the late Walter E. Taylor and Ann Grace Mulroy. He was a member of the Union Beach American Legion #321. He served his country in the Navy during Vietnam.
Bernard is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine (Rasimowicz) Taylor; his children, William E. Taylor; Michael R. Taylor; Patricia J. Taylor; Cheryl A. Mastro; and Amanda V. Rusch; two sisters, Dianne Mullen and Anne Jenkins; a brother, Leo Taylor; stepchildren, Phyllis Smith; Jenny Rosoff and Carrie Souslin; his cherished grandchildren, Alissa Rosoff; Amanda Brown; Timothy Leo; Erin Nichols; Hanaha Rosoff; Jacob Nichols; Thurman Smith; and Elizabeth Souslin; and a precious great grandson, Kaeden Caine Rossi-Rosoff. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
