SAYREVILLE, NJ — Monday was the filing deadline to file to run for Sayreville school.

The election for both Sayreville town Council and school board will be Nov. 4. Here's who is running in 2025:

  • Alberto Rios, Democrat
  • Donna Roberts, Republican
  • Anthony Esposito, Republican

Sayreville Board of Education, vote for three:

  • Lucille Bloom, Building Brighter Futures
  • Chris Callahan, Building Brighter Futures
  • Jeff Smith, Building Brighter Futures
  • Jacklyn Headlam, Purposeful Impact
  • Jessica Vant, Sayreville Values Protected. Vant and her slate explained what their slate name means: "Sayreville Values Protected means protecting what we value most, our children. We believe in preserving parental rights so that every family, no matter what they look like, has the freedom to instill their own family values while respecting others. We value protecting everyone's right to a quality education, no matter what their individual needs are.
