Extra Middlesex Boro Cops On These Roads Week Of Dec. 29

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Just because it's the last week of the year doesn't mean that Middlesex borough police have stepped off their safe streets initiative.

For the week of Sunday, Dec. 29 - Saturday, Jan. 4, there will be extra Middlesex borough police cars on the following roads, looking for these following violations:

Location: Starlit Drive

Issue: Overweight Vehicles, Speeding

Location: Washington Avenue

Issue: Stop Sign Violations

Location: Union Avenue

Issue: Speeding

Last week’s Traffic Enforcement consisted of 80 motor vehicle stops conducted by Middlesex police officers. Middlesex police say they identify the roads to monitor based on complaints from residents.
