Middlesex Boro Superfood Sells $600K-Winning Lottery Ticket

MIDDLESEX BORO, NJ — The news just keeps coming out of Middlesex borough:

After it was announced that the alligator that's been roaming the area's lakes and creeks was caught last Thursday night, a big-winning lottery ticket was just sold at the Middlesex borough supermarket:

The ticket won the $616,258 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, September 8 drawing, the NJ state Lottery announced Monday morning. It matched all five numbers drawn.

The winning numbers were: 14, 16, 19, 43 and 45 and the XTRA number was 2.

The winning ticket was sold at Superfood Fresh Supermarket, 738 Union Ave. in Middlesex borough. The grocery store will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
