March 12 at 4:19 a.m. – German Sanchez, 36, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following an investigation into a vehicle that was disabled in the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Mountain Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.
March 17 at 1:53 a.m. – Thelma E. Martinez, 52, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Dogwood Drive. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

March 21 at 8:04 a.m. – An employee of a Harris Avenue business reported a man shoplifted $103.08 worth of merchandise. Officer Richard Szymczak investigated.
March 22 at 3:54 p.m. – A patron of a Union Avenue business reported finding a credit card-skimming device on one of the store’s credit card pin pads. Officer Daniel Gurell is investigating.

March 22 at 4:22 p.m. – The proprietor of a Bound Brook Road business reported that two males shoplifted $23.99 worth of merchandise. Officer Amanda Basso investigated.
March 23 at 12:52 a.m. – James G. Bridge, 61, of Hampton was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop that was initiated on Warrenville Road. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.
March 23 at 1:08 a.m. - William R. Larkin, 60, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Harris Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.
March 24 at 2:29 a.m. – A resident of Lorraine Avenue reported an attempted burglary. The two suspects fled the area prior to gaining entry into the backyard. Officer Christian Dulin conducted the preliminary investigation, which was later turned over to the Detective Bureau.
As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
