The South Plainfield School of Rock is owned by a husband-wife team, Fabio and Rita Seidl. The two have always had a strong passion for music, with Rita’s background as an instructor teaching Portuguese through Brazilian songs, and Fabio, who has played in a band since he was a teenager and used to write articles for music publications.

They were ultimately inspired to open a School of Rock of their own after seeing the positive impact it had on their own daughter, who was a student at the Chatham location.

“We believe that School of Rock is more than just making musicians. We’ve learned first-hand through our daughter's experience that music has the power to help anyone of any age live a happier and more fulfilling life," said the couple. "We’re grateful to School of Rock for giving us the opportunity to share our love of music with South Plainfield."

“Rita and Fabio’s journey from devoted musicians and instructors to School of Rock owners is incredible, and we are so excited to see them lead their own School of Rock Franchise” said Stacey Ryan, School of Rock CEO. “With their background and love for music, the South Plainfield community is lucky to have them teaching music to the next generation of rock stars.”
